Miguel Fisac and Alejandro de la Sota are perhaps the most important representatives of Spanish architecture from the second half of the twentieth century. The ICO Fundación organized an exposition cantered on these two architects and contemporaries, showing their work as parallel paths leading in one direction towards the renovation of architectural language. This idea is reflected in this catalogue, edited by La Fábrica, which accompanies the exposition by providing a timeline that highlights the major landmarks of both architects' careers, represented by parallel lines that span the years during which they carried out their work. Given that both of these artists' projects are interspersed throughout the book, each was assigned an identifying colour: orange for Fisac and blue for De la Sota. The images of their projects are arranged following a dynamic composition, with the goal of designing more of a book on architecture than a detailed catalogue.
